Summary
We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, Accounts Receivable/Collections Specialist to manage the billing, collections, and reconciliation of accounts receivable. This position requires strong communication skills, independent problem-solving, and the ability to collaborate across departments in a fast-paced environment.
About the position- Review orders shipped and invoiced daily;
Email invoices to customers and verify purchase/sales orders - Monitor partial shipments and transmit invoices for future shipments
- Process credit card payments and ensure fast invoice delivery
- Report and link overdue accounts to Regional Sales Managers (RSMs)
- Manage monthly debt collection reports;
Contacting customers and providing updates to finance management - Review reports in the ERP system (Axelor) for overdue accounts and initiate payment follow-up.
- Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process;
Coordinate with internal teams for credit or replenishment - Monitor and respond to accounting-related emails
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in accounting
- At least five years of professional experience, or a combination of education and experience demonstrating equivalent competence
- Proven experience in accounts receivable, collections or related finance positions
- Great attention to detail and his ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Experience in international reporting and multi-currency transactions
- Familiarity with CRM and order management systems
- Knowledge of credit policies and best practices for debt collection
