Warehouse Operator I – Fleet Services by Cox Automotive

As a Warehouse Associate – CDL B Driver, you will be responsible for pulling parts and loading trucks, serving as backup to our parts drivers, and performing other warehouse duties.
Duties & Responsibilities- Shuttle commercial vehicles to be repaired or post‑repairs between our maintenance shop location and customers in the surrounding area
- Picking, packing, shipping, and receiving parts and packages in a warehouse setting
- Serving as a back‑up driver for the parts drivers
- Maintaining a valid CDL Class B license
- Loading trucks
- Working as a part of a team
- Ability to regularly lift heavy objects up to fifty (50) pounds
- Other warehouse duties as assigned
- High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field (or a different combination such as a higher degree/certification in a related discipline or 5 years’ experience)
- Minimum valid CDL Class B required
- Between 1 and 3 years of CDL driving experience
- Ability to lift to 75 pounds and maneuver heavy equipment
- Ability to read/follow maps, routes, and GPS system
- Familiarity with the local geography
- Compliance with Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations, including successful completion of a DOT‑regulated pre‑employment background screening and DOT physical
- A current and valid DOT medical card with more than four (4) months remaining until expiration may be submitted in lieu of a DOT physical; otherwise a DOT physical is required
- Eligibility to work in the United States and at least 21 years of age
