• Engage and educate members about the benefits of exercise.
• Schedule appointments to develop structured programs based on the health history, interests, goals and needs of the member.
• Develop, implement, and instruct a variety of personal training and small group sessions.
• Build and maintain relationships to foster steady growth of member participation and increase retention.
• Provide support to help members meet their goals.
• Work the wellness floor to identify potential clients.

• Provide Wellness Department Orientation to new members.
• Identify and correct lifting techniques.
• Create client‑specific fitness programming.
• Provide tours to potential members.
• Register new members or current members for ongoing training packages.
• Data entry tracking.
• Opportunity to enhance career education by attaining certifications and delivering programs such as the Livestrong program for cancer survivors.

• Nationally recognized certification.
• Motivated and energetic mindset.
• Willingness to be on your feet for a few hours.
• Enjoys interacting with people.

• High School Diploma.
• National Personal Trainer Certification.
• CPR/First Aid Certification (required; provided if needed).
