Wisenbaker is looking for an experienced
** Continuous Improvement Manager**, someone who can step in and drive measurable improvements across our cabinet manufacturing operations. But if you’re a rising leader with the right mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and a hunger to learn, we want to hear from you too. Experience is valued, but potential counts just as much.
** What You’ll Be Doing (And Owning with Pride):
*** Lead plant-wide continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, DMAIC, PDCA, Six Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
* Identify waste in production workflows, from raw material handling to final cabinet assembly, and implement sustainable countermeasures.
* Partner with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain leaders to streamline processes and increase throughput.
* Facilitate Kaizen events, value stream mapping sessions, root cause analysis, and structured problem-solving workshops.
* Develop KPIs and performance dashboards that turn data into actionable insights.
* Standardize best practices across shifts and departments to ensure consistency and scalability.
* Champion 5S and Implement mistake-proofing (poka-yoke) and visual controls to reduce defects and rework.
* Train, coach, and empower supervisors and frontline teams to think critically and solve problems at the source.
* Drive cost reduction initiatives without compromising product quality or safety.
* Support capital improvement projects and layout optimization to maximize efficiency and flow.

* What We’re Looking For:

*** 5+ years in a manufacturing environment, with strong exposure to Lean or operational excellence initiatives.
* 3+ years leading continuous improvement, process engineering, or operational transformation efforts.
* Experience in cabinetry, woodworking, millwork, or high-volume production manufacturing is highly preferred.
* Deep knowledge of Lean tools (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, SMED, Root Cause Analysis, Standard Work). Six Sigma certification is a plus.
* A data-driven mindset, you don’t guess, you measure.
* Strong facilitation skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
* The ability to walk the floor, see opportunity where others see routine, and turn ideas into action.
