This is the base salary pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive bonus.
Position OverviewAs our Plant Engineer, you'll lead the maintenance and engineering function for a single manufacturing facility—owning Capex planning, driving equipment reliability, and empowering a skilled maintenance team to keep production running safely, efficiently, and cost‑effectively. If you love solving complex problems, optimizing assets, and mentoring people, this role is built for you.
Your Day to-Day- Lead the Maintenance team: Manage staffing, coaching, and daily operations; set direction and deploy resources.
- Own the plan: Build long‑term Capex strategies; manage projects and report monthly on capital and maintenance spend.
- Schedule & execute: Oversee daily/weekly/monthly maintenance activities and PMs; keep work orders flowing and priorities clear.
- Improve reliability: Track equipment performance, implement upgrades, and boost OEE with data‑driven decisions.
- Drive productivity: Partner with Plant Leadership to streamline processes, reduce downtime, and eliminate waste.
- Manage energy & assets: Steward plant energy programs and maintain capital assets for lifecycle value.
- Champion compliance: Ensure environmental and safety compliance across the facility.
- Solve hard problems: Diagnose root causes and implement practical, sustainable fixes.
- Do what's needed: Flex to related duties that keep the plant running smoothly.
- Education & experience: Bachelor's in engineering; 6+ years in manufacturing project engineering and 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Technical depth: Strong knowledge of mechanical systems; working knowledge of environmental/safety rules and regulations.
- Systems fluency: Hands‑on experience with SAP Plant Maintenance

. - Leadership & communication: Proven ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and communicate clearly (written and verbal).
- Toolbox: Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
; expert problem‑solving and analytical skills. - Ways of working: Independent and collaborative; comfortable interfacing across all levels and functions.
- Preferred:
Lean/Six Sigma experience. - Physical & travel: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs; minimal travel (≈2 weeks/year). Work environment typical of manufacturing (heat/cold, noise, heights, moving equipment, dust/mist/fumes; extensive walking/climbing).
