Global Captain; Part – Van Nuys, CA

🧭 The Role

As Captain, you will lead safe, compliant, and efficient Global 6000 operations for private charter missions, domestic and international. You will set the tone for professionalism, coordinate seamlessly with dispatch and maintenance, and deliver an exceptional experience while upholding the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance.

• Serve as PIC on Global 6000 flights under 14 CFR Part 135.
• Ensure strict adherence to all FARs, company operations manual, operations specifications, standard operating procedures, and company policies.
• Plan and execute domestic and international missions, including performance planning, weight and balance, fuel strategy, and oceanic/remote procedures as required.
• Lead and mentor crew members; foster a culture of safety, professionalism, and service.
• Coordinate with dispatch, maintenance, and client services to ensure on-time, efficient operations.
• Represent the flight department with discretion and professionalism at all times.

• Residency: Must reside within a two-hour drivable commute of Van Nuys, CA, or be able to relocate.
• International Readiness: Unrestricted ability to travel internationally.
• Compliance: Ability to pass DOT/FAA drug screening and background checks; willing to submit to random drug/alcohol testing.

• Total Time: 3,500 hours
• PIC Time: 2,000 hours
• Time in Type: 200 hours (Global 6000/BD-700)
• Turbine: 1,000 hours
• Type Rating: Required (Global 6000/BD-700)
• License: ATP
• License Holder: FAA only
• Medical: First Class
• Visa Sponsorship: Not provided

Candidates must meet or exceed all stated minimums and maintain currency and proficiency appropriate to Part 135 operations.

This role is based at Van Nuys Airport (KVNY), a premier business aviation hub in the Los Angeles area. Proximity to base is essential to support scheduling needs and operational readiness.
