Position SummaryThe Warehouse Associate operates a forklift and other material handling equipment to ship, receive, and pick goods. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, scanning, moving, staging, replenishing, and stacking products; counting and inspecting items; reporting damages or discrepancies; and ensuring the safe, efficient operation of all equipment. Associates are expected to meet company objectives for performance, safety, and quality and to comply with all corporate and site‑specific policies.
EssentialDuties And Responsibilities Shipping Responsibilities
- Use a gas or electric powered forklift to load outbound shipments, move product, and stack items or materials efficiently and accurately according to doors and trailers as defined by Standard Operating Procedures.
- Use a gas or electric powered forklift to unload inbound shipments, move product, replenish, stack, and store items in the correct storage areas, following SOPs.
- Use a gas or electric powered forklift to pick orders accurately, stage them, and handle packaging tasks (pack, band, shrink wrap, label) according to client requirements, as per SOPs.
- Verify that products and orders meet quality standards, report damages or discrepancies, and ensure correct documentation. Perform packaging, shrink wrapping, and labeling activities.
- Execute all safety protocols, maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the facility, assist with warehouse security, and comply with Standard Operating Procedures, corporate and site‑specific policies, safety rules, and OSHA/MSDS standards.
- Operate sit‑down, stand‑up, reach truck, sweeper scrubber, scissor lift, cherry picker, Aisle Master, or pallet jack as required.
- Maintain equipment, report problems, inspect and perform minor maintenance daily, and operate safely following prescribed work methods.
- Maintain an active forklift certification.
- Assist with building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 6 months of experience working in logistics/distribution or a related environment.
- Experience operating material handling equipment.
- Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program.
- Basic computer skills.
- Basic proficiency with RF scanners.
- Knowledge of WMS functions.
- English (reading, writing, verbal).
- Basic to intermediate level for verifying product quantities, inventory counts, and other related tasks.
