Responsible for pick up and delivery of inbound and outbound to customer location, using company vehicles at least 50% of the time. Employee driver who will operate commercial motor vehicles (vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight >10,000 lb) in the area surrounding a DB Schenker facility (within a 150 air-mile radius).

• Verify shipment-bills for required information and load freight onto trucks
• Unload freight from trucks and weigh/check dimensions compared to shipper's calculations
• Sort outbound freight between overnight and second-day and load ULD and trucks
• Deliver freight to customer location using company vehicles
• Recover freight from customer location using company vehicles

The individual in this position must be capable of performing all of the essential functions with or without a reasonable accommodation.

• Meet all Federal and State standards of qualification for commercial drivers, including DOT/FMCSA requirements
• Physical requirements:
  
  ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly; climbing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motions
• Safety and daily operations details: understand assignment complexity, accountability, impact of decisions, and working relationships

• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be able to pass any government, airport, or company-required background checks, clearances, and/or drug and alcohol tests

This is an intermediate level position. Good interpersonal skills required. High school diploma or equivalent required. Generally, 2-4 years of experience preferred.
