Overview
We develop some of the world's most advanced semiconductor packaging technologies as part of Intel's Foundry Technology Manufacturing (FTM) organization. In the Advanced Packaging and Technology Manufacturing (APTM) group, you will be part of a team responsible for developing AI-driven solutions that will revolutionize every aspect of advanced packaging development, from design concept to high-volume manufacturing. You will architect a solution to leverage Agentic AI at-scale with a diverse and complex set of industry-leading tools.
ResponsibilitiesThink big. Lead and define a strategy to leverage Agentic AI to transform how we develop and deliver some of the most complex hardware systems in the world.
Push the limits. Enable Agentic solutions that leverage state-of-the-art capabilities to make the impossible a reality, and help APTM become an indispensable partner to our Foundry customers.
Help us see the future. Architect a future-proof framework to serve as the foundation for all Agentic solutions, enabling agent collaboration, long-term memory, deployment and agent life cycles.
Be a leader. Act as technical authority for multi-agent system design and establish best practices for agent development, ensuring modularity and scalability.
Build SDKs, templates, and developer standards that will accelerate the adoption and integration of agentic solutions.
Design APIs and plugins for connecting agents to existing enterprise tools, data, and workflows.
You must possess the requirements below to be considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum QualificationsMaster's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Development, Software Engineering or related discipline and 4+ years of relevant experience
-OR- PhD Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Development, Software Engineering or related discipline and 2+ years of relevant experience
Relevant experience must include any of the following:
Experience designing and deploying multi-agent or agentic AI systems
A working understanding of the core components to an agent orchestration platform
Strong knowledge of LLMs and their applications
Familiarity with vector databases, knowledge graphs, or semantic layers to provide agents with governed access to enterprise knowledge.
Experience integrating AI agents with enterprise tools and data systems, preferably in engineering, hardware development, or manufacturing environments
7+ years of software engineering experience
5+ years of hands-on professional experience in distributed systems and AI infrastructure
Strong system design mindset, balancing technical rigor with practical adoption
Experience building SDKs, templates, or internal developer platforms that accelerate adoption of AI/agent capabilities across multiple teams
Experience implementing security, governance, and guardrails for LLM and agentic systems
