Tonkin Hillsboro Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram is hiring a Transmission/Heavy Line Technician/Mechanic for immediate hire. Our Transmission Technician/Heavy Line Technician/Mechanic takes on the bigger jobs that come through the door, enabling our apprentice and lube technicians to do the maintenance work.

The ideal candidate would have extensive automotive repair experience in a new dealership.

• Diagnose automotive problems as they arise.
• Conduct inspections, repair engine failures, and repair mechanical and electrical systems, replacing parts.
• Comply with manufacturer specifications throughout the repair/servicing process.
• Mentor and help other technicians on the Service Team.

• 3-5 years of automotive repair/diagnostic experience.
• FCA Certified is preferred but not required.
• Driver’s License.
