Summary
The Service Center Technician is a key member of the team, supporting clients in the Microchip manufacturing industry. Working under direct supervision, disassembles and re-assembles pump systems including the cleaning of parts for the rebuild process.
Shift: Monday-Friday 5am-1:30pm
- Overtime is generally available and may be mandatory
Pay: $19/hr

Essential Functions
- Disassembly, cleaning, or re-assembly of pumps.
- Receive pumps, generate parts order, perform teardown and condition reports.
- Documents all observations during disassembly and generates failure analysis reports.
- Maintain and replace equipment, tools, and supplies used during for the service of pumps.
- Checks power and hand tools for proper operation.
- Ensure that all Procedures and Instructions are followed during the assembly process.
- Communicate all issues to Leads/Supervisor on a timely manner.
- Re-assembly of pumps
Requirements
- Working knowledge of mechanical skills. Working knowledge of principles of vacuum technology.
- Strong relationship building skills with ability to collaborate and work effectively with internal colleagues and customer.
- Demonstrated teamwork and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated good oral communication skills.
- Provide verification of good driving record if servicing customer offsite.
Education
- High School, GED, Certifications on Electronics or equivalent experience.
