The Equipment Maintenance Technician (EMT) performs unscheduled maintenance and repairs on all equipment and facilities in compliance with State and Federal safety, health, and environmental laws. The EMT analyzes malfunctions, recommends repair steps, and performs repairs with approval and oversight. The EMT records inspection, testing, and repair activities, preparing reports and maintaining accurate maintenance documentation. Over time, the EMT will perform high‑level technical maintenance and repair on all equipment and facilities.

• Maintains, adjusts, repairs and installs mechanical, electrical, hydraulic/pneumatic, HVAC, and other equipment as needed.
• Dismantles machines and performs repairs.
• Performs repairs and unscheduled maintenance on production machines.
• Provides recommendations to Quality and Process Engineering regarding preventive maintenance and schedule frequencies.
• Performs machinery and equipment installations.
• Coordinates timely repairs with outside vendors, including contacting service providers and ordering parts.
• Keeps accurate records of maintenance and repairs, documenting activities in SAP.
• Operates forklifts, power tools, hand tools, measuring tools, and other maintenance equipment.
• Observes safety and security procedures, reports unsafe conditions, and uses equipment properly.
• Follows lock‑out/tag‑out procedures.

• 6+ years of machine maintenance experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance and repair of production machinery such as CNC machines, CNC Swiss screw machines, and air pressure systems.
• Expertise with hand and power tools.
• Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
• Ability to interpret written, oral, diagrammatic, or scheduled instructions.
• Experience using inspection devices such as calipers and micrometers.
• Intermediate computer skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
