Plant Manager

The Position

We are seeking a Traveling Plant Manager to provide leadership and operational support across multiple manufacturing facilities. This role is ideal for an adaptable leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is eager to learn. The selected candidate will be fully trained to support all segments, including pipe, plastics, structures, precast, prestress, and stormwater plants.

• Gain broad industry experience through hands‑on training in multiple manufacturing segments.

Travel to manufacturing locations (50-60%) to fill in as an interim Plant Manager or provide operational support.

Manage daily plant operations, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, production, and efficiency standards are met.

Learn and adapt to various manufacturing processes through comprehensive cross‑training.

Support plant teams by providing leadership, troubleshooting operational challenges, and driving improvements.

Train, mentor, and develop plant personnel to enhance team performance.

Collaborate with corporate and regional leadership to align operations with company objectives.

• 3-5 years leadership experience in manufacturing, operations, or plant management.
• Broad knowledge of business functions, including safety, quality, production operations, accounting, inventory management, cost control/profit & loss management, and shipping.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to different manufacturing environments.
• Willingness to travel extensively (50-60%) as needed.
