Maintenance Mechanic; Day Shift

Join Davis Tool's expanding Maintenance Team and make a difference. Our Maintenance Mechanic’s repair equipment, perform preventive and predictive maintenance for both the manufacturing departments and building facilities. Our manufacturing equipment list includes but is not limited to, CNC machining and turning centers, lasers, turret punches, and a variety of manufacturing support equipment. We have buildings at two locations and total over 220,000 square feet.

• Preventive Maintenance of all machinery including machining work centers and support equipment.
• Preventive Maintenance of building facilities.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, electronic, software, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Applying understanding of troubleshooting to diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electronic, software, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Working from drawings, wiring diagrams, maintenance manuals and verbal instructions.
• Schedule and interface with 3rd party machine manufacturer maintenance
• Assemble and install mechanical equipment and systems such as production machinery/tools.
• Use precision measuring tools to verify compliance to engineering specifications and tolerances

• Interpret and follow blueprints, drawings, ladder and schematic diagrams, and general instructions to plan and layout test and repair procedures.
• Have 5 or more years of mechanical repair and machine maintenance experience.
• Understand mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Have a knowledge of standard safety regulations.
• Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Have high attention to detail and are organized.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

• Degree or certificate in related field;
  Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automated Machinery Systems is a plus but not required.
