Operating Engineer / Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

We have 90 years of experience in the uniform and textile garment rental industries, and we are looking to hire an entry level Industrial Maintenance Mechanic. This is a full‑time position, not seasonal.

Pay:
Base pay range $27.00/hr – $39.00/hr overall pay range provided by Prudential Overall Supply.

• Some experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial or cleanroom environment. Applicable military experience strongly considered.
• Proficient in the proper use of power tools, forklifts, manlifts, and hand tools.
• Proficient in reading blueprints, electrical wiring, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other diagrams.
• High school Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience in assignment of tasks and goals is preferred.
• Experience in boiler operation, wastewater processing, HVAC system operation, and general facility repair.
• Prior experience operating and/or maintaining industrial washers, dryers, steam tunnels, automated folders, conveyors, boilers, overhead hoists, and reverse osmosis water treatment equipment is a plus.
• Military experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.

• Perform preventative maintenance, repair, and install industrial equipment, water systems, and other industrial systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues with guidance from Plant Management.
• Perform carpentry, painting, custodial, and other general facility maintenance.
• Participate in safety committee to maintain and promote a culture of safe practices.
• Must be able to follow instructions and complete assignments in a timely and safe manner.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and industry best practices.
• Work with other employees cooperatively and professionally.
• Work off shift hours or weekends for special projects and overhauls.
• Other duties as required.
