You Are: UST is searching for a Lab Technician who will support validation and testing of semiconductor platforms, components, and systems under defined test plans.
The Opportunity- Assist with system bring-up, configuration, and execution of validation test cases
- Perform basic debug and triage of test failures, collect logs, and document observations
- Support OS installation and configuration on validation platforms (Linux/Windows)
- Execute manual and semi-automated validation workflows under supervision
- Assist in hardware setup including platform assembly, cabling, and peripheral connections
- Maintain test records, validation results, and defect documentation
- Work closely with senior engineers to reproduce issues and verify fixes
- Follow lab safety, ESD, and operational procedures
- Basic understanding of semiconductor validation or system testing
- Familiarity with computer hardware components and system architecture
- Exposure to Linux or Windows operating systems
- Basic debugging and problem-solving skills
- Good documentation and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a lab-based, hands-on environment
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in hardware validation, lab support, or system testing roles

Compensation Range: $48,000-$72,000
