AVT Technician – 2‑Month Contract

Our client, a multibillion‑dollar company that provides end‑to‑end managed services, technology, and consulting, is looking for an AVT Technician for a 2‑month contract in Hillsboro, OR 97124.

As an AVT Technician, you will support the delivery of individualized experiences to a diverse range of clients in a collaborative, productive workplace environment.

Location & Compensation

Hillsboro, OR – $45,000.00 – $50,000.00

Required Skills & Experience
  • 2+ years audio/visual experience.
  • Complete knowledge of audio/video signal flow, including Extron components and integrated AV signal paths (scalers, switchers, DAs, extenders) for high‑level troubleshooting.
  • May be required to travel between sites using a personal vehicle/company van.
  • Able to lift up to 35 lbs. solo.
  • May be required to walk, sit, stand, crawl, and kneel for extended periods.
  • Excellent customer service and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Windows.
Daily Responsibilities
  • Daily and quarterly preventive maintenance checks in the conference room environment.
  • Daily updates in the database of record, both online and offline.
  • Act as a point of contact for Level 1 technicians.
  • Monitor online queues to assist customers with break/fix and meeting support requests.
  • Engage customers' requests for meeting support.
  • Update Extron and AMX firmware for preventive maintenance.
  • Engage external vendors for RMA replacement.
  • Escalate large or out‑of‑scope break/fix issues and workarounds to L3/L4.
  • Assist and coordinate L3/L4 with large deployment or renovation projects.
  • Frequent interaction with clients in person and via phone, email, and IM.
  • Work in a dynamic team and cross‑train to backfill for peer team members; additional responsibilities may be assigned periodically to meet client needs and provide continuous hands‑on training and experience.
Eligibility

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full‑time basis now and in the future.
