AVT Technician – 2‑Month Contract
Our client, a multibillion‑dollar company that provides end‑to‑end managed services, technology, and consulting, is looking for an AVT Technician for a 2‑month contract in Hillsboro, OR 97124.
As an AVT Technician, you will support the delivery of individualized experiences to a diverse range of clients in a collaborative, productive workplace environment.

Location & CompensationHillsboro, OR – $45,000.00 – $50,000.00
Required Skills & Experience- 2+ years audio/visual experience.
- Complete knowledge of audio/video signal flow, including Extron components and integrated AV signal paths (scalers, switchers, DAs, extenders) for high‑level troubleshooting.
- May be required to travel between sites using a personal vehicle/company van.
- Able to lift up to 35 lbs. solo.
- May be required to walk, sit, stand, crawl, and kneel for extended periods.
- Excellent customer service and written/verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of the Microsoft suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Windows.
- Daily and quarterly preventive maintenance checks in the conference room environment.
- Daily updates in the database of record, both online and offline.
- Act as a point of contact for Level 1 technicians.
- Monitor online queues to assist customers with break/fix and meeting support requests.
- Engage customers' requests for meeting support.
- Update Extron and AMX firmware for preventive maintenance.
- Engage external vendors for RMA replacement.
- Escalate large or out‑of‑scope break/fix issues and workarounds to L3/L4.
- Assist and coordinate L3/L4 with large deployment or renovation projects.
- Frequent interaction with clients in person and via phone, email, and IM.
- Work in a dynamic team and cross‑train to backfill for peer team members; additional responsibilities may be assigned periodically to meet client needs and provide continuous hands‑on training and experience.
