Location:

Hillsboro, Oregon, and Portland, Oregon, United States of America.

• On‑site performance of all build projects.
• Be present on site during normal business hours.
• Support new deployments or new builds, and live site/production requests.
• Assist with cabinet installation and decommission as needed.
• Execute other operational activities approved by the customer.
• Manage incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Maintain data center cleanliness and organization.
• Install hardware in production and staging environments.
• Maintain inventory systems, provide timely updates on inventory levels, and perform quarterly cycle counts.
• Manage site growth by keeping the data center organized.

• 3+ years’ experience deploying and supporting servers in a 24/7 production data center environment.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Experience with the installation of standard cabling technologies and rack infrastructure, including seismic bracing, infrastructure aesthetics, and effective troubleshooting.
• Unix/Linux skills (preferred).
• Understanding of cabling and telecommunications standards including IEEE/ANSI/TIA/EIA (strongly preferred).
• Experience supporting SAN or NAS technologies (preferred).
