Job Description:
As a Module Development Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving Intel's cutting-edge technological advancements. This position allows you to lead the development and enablement of sophisticated manufacturing processes and innovative device architectures that are vital to Intel's success. You will be instrumental in shaping future technologies and improving manufacturing efficiencies, ensuring Intel remains at the forefront of process and equipment solutions.
By collaborating with key stakeholders and suppliers, you will help advance Intel's technology roadmap and drive progress across the semiconductor industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive technology development to enable high-volume manufacturing and future technology innovations.
* Lead the design and development of technically advanced manufacturing processes, repair reverse engineering, and system designs to meet new product requirements.
* Perform feasibility studies and pathfinding activities to support process and hardware development for pioneering device architectures.
* Develop and implement modifications to operating equipment to enhance production efficiency and optimize manufacturing output.
* Partner with equipment and materials suppliers to establish and implement enabling elements of new technologies.
* Conduct theoretical simulations and practical engineering methods to perform process technology feasibility studies.
* Stay updated on industry trends to identify future Intel process technology needs and collaborate with vendors to create cost-sensitive roadmaps.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
* PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical field plus 1+ year of experience.
OR
* Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical field plus 2+ years of experience.
OR
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical field plus 4+ years of experience.
The experience above should be combined experience in:
* Technical expertise in semiconductor processing, system controls, opto‑mechanics, or mechanical systems.
* Proficiency in Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE) principles.
* Programming experience in Python or MATLAB.
* Hands‑on experience with robotics, automation systems, vision systems, and image processing.
Preferred Qualifications
* Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot manufacturing processes and equipment.
* Experience with packaging processes, equipment automation development, and project management in technology development.
