Validation Engineer

Location:

Hillsboro, OR
Duration: 6+ months

• Proficient in Linux, virtualization (KVM, Xen, etc), and network protocols.
• Fluency in Linux scripting languages (Python, Perl, Bash, etc.).
• Working experience in administering and configuring data center and cloud equipment such as Ethernet switch, cabling, network interface, server platforms, and various OS installations.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving ability.
• Strong attention to detail and must be able to isolate and analyze software/hardware problems.
• Good writing and oral communication ability.
• Experience with in the team in network testing and benchmarking tools (e.g., Ixia, Spirent, netperf, iperf, etc.) and performance measurement and analysis.
• Experience with in the team with cloud infrastructure, configuration, and management; knowledge with Open Stack, Open Daylight, SDN, NFV, Open vSwitch, and DPDK.
