Job Overview

Stefanini Group is looking for an Electron Microscope Technician in Hillsboro, OR (8531 NE Cornell Rd, Suite B300, Hillsboro, OR 97124). The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a STEM field, 2-5 years of electron microscopy experience (preferably in a QC/R&D environment), strong SEM skills, and familiarity with FIB and basic troubleshooting. The job is 35 regular hours per week, 2nd shift 4:00 PM – 11:30 PM with 30 minute lunch.

Occasional weekend work may be required.

• Perform electron microscopy characterization during the 2nd shift and occasional weekends.
• Support R&D projects by on‑time execution of SEM imaging and sample preparation requests.
• Work independently, ensuring maximum throughput in a fast‑paced environment.
• Maintain basic microscope troubleshooting and instrument maintenance.

• 2+ years of hands‑on operation of Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM).
• Preferably experience operating Focused Ion Beam (FIB).
• BS degree in STEM with basic knowledge in semiconductor technology.
• Familiarity with general characterization techniques.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Must be able to work the 2nd shift most days and occasionally on weekends.
