Job DescriptionThe Role
Our site in Hillsboro, OR is seeking Senior Engineer, Manufacturing Engineering to join our team. Our Engineering group is developing a specialty in Data Management and Science, including SAP master data management and the development of analytical tools to support our operations in cross-functional teams. The Senior Engineer is responsible for ensuring SAP master data creation and change processes are implemented with accuracy and speed and integrated with MES and other business systems.
This individual will ensure accurate master data inputs for the Hillsboro site.
- Align master data in SAP with data from PLCs, SCADA, MES, and other systems
- Collaborate with global personnel from customer service, quality, operations, engineering, procurement, accounting, and finance teams to gather requirements and ensure data alignment
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for the end-to-end Entegris Master Data processes
- Understand and identify data dependencies in support of master data object creation and change processes
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity by conducting data validation, regular audits, and implementing data quality checks
- Develop and publish key performance metrics for the health of the Entegris data ecosystem for the Hillsboro plant.
- BS in a science or engineering related field or equivalent experience. MS preferred. < years working experience in manufacturing (BS)/3 years working experience (MS)
- Experience using SAP, IBP, or other sufficiently advanced systems.
- Knowledge and acquaintance of MES, SAP, IBP, or other sufficiently advanced manufacturing system implementation, enhancement, and administration.
- Independent problem solver and can work with cross functional teams for MES implementation and integration.
- Ability to design and create data analytics procedures and applications to enhance factory operations.
- Can develop a project plan with limited supervision. Can coordinate activities with other groups to execute the project plan.
- Demonstrated successful MES, SAP, IBP, implementation and integration and/or implementation of other sufficiently advanced manufacturing systems.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet client and internal demands under tight timelines.
- Manufacturing Math / Factory Physics experience.
- Lean and/or Six Sigma experience.
- Strong data-driven mindset and systems thinking.
- JMP, SQL, Power
BI, Excel experience. - SAP background and experience.
- Enthusiastic learner and continuous improvement mindset.
