OverviewA mature semiconductor manufacturer seeks a hands-on leader to manage the epitaxy (EPI) equipment maintenance function for a high-volume fabrication environment. You’ll guide engineers, technicians, and service partners to provide 24/7 tool support, elevate reliability and cost efficiency, and foster a safe, positive workplace.
Responsibilities- Lead and develop a multi-disciplinary team of equipment engineers, technicians, and contractors supporting manufacturing operations.
- Ensure production targets are achieved while upholding rigorous safety, quality, and cost controls.
- Prioritize and coordinate work across manufacturing, engineering, and equipment support groups.
- Mentor talent and build a high-performing culture through clear communication and effective role modeling.
- Allocate resources, administer policies, and optimize processes for maximum tool uptime and efficiency.
- Champion continuous improvement in safety, quality, cost, and people development.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or related field; business background a plus.
- 8–10 years in semiconductor equipment maintenance; experience with epitaxy tools preferred.
- 5+ years leading teams in a manufacturing setting.
- Advanced technical troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management.
- Proficiency with standard productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentations).
- Comfortable supporting a 24/7 operational environment and shifting priorities.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and effective in fast-paced settings.
