• Coverage Type: Scheduled No Call

• Shift Times: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (clinic & endoscopy, closed major holidays)

• Blocks of Coverage Needed:

  • Jan 1 Jan 18

  • Jan 27 Feb 12

  • Feb 28 Mar 15

Daily Structure:

• 4 hours in Endoscopy

• 4 hours in Clinic

• Setting: Acute Care Hospital (inpatient + outpatient split)

• Practice Setting: Gastroenterology

• Patient Load: 16 patients/day, including consults

• Group: 4 Physician GI group, with APP support during weekdays; solo coverage on nights/weekends

• Procedures Required:

  • Colonoscopy

  • Liver Biopsy

  • Esophageal Dilatation/Manometry & Interpretation

  • Sigmoidoscopy

  • Lower GI Endoscopy

  • Upper GI Endoscopy (diagnostic & therapeutic, PEG placement, foreign body removal, variceal banding/injection, cautery, fulguration of bleeders)

ERCP/EUS: Not required, but preferred. Higher rates may be considered for candidates with these skills.

• Credentialing Timeframe: days

• Board Certification: Required

• State License: Oregon (client willing to license; can start credentialing while license is in process)

• DEA: Required

• Certifications: BLS/ACLS (standard hospital requirements)

• Experience: Prior inpatient gastroenterology coverage; ERCP/EUS a plus

• Travel: Covered (airfare, lodging, rental car)
