We are more than just a Parts Store and are seeking talented individuals to join our NAPA family! As a NAPA Counter Sales associate, you are the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person for customers seeking automotive parts and advice. You don’t need to be an expert in tearing down engines—though that’s a plus—but a background in automotive parts is helpful.

This role offers a great opportunity whether you want to build a career as a Parts Specialist, work full- or part-time, or explore other career paths within our company.

• Providing auto parts solutions and answers to retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone
• Assisting team members with customer inquiries using your parts knowledge
• Delivering outstanding customer service and interactions
• Maintaining a customer-focused and energetic store environment
• Welcoming customers and ensuring a positive shopping experience
• Using technology such as computers, cash registers, and catalogs

• Enjoy helping customers with auto parts and service questions
• Have experience in the automotive industry or enjoy tinkering with vehicles
• Are eager to learn about automotive parts if you lack experience
• Want to grow your career in a supportive environment

• Valid Driver’s License
• Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn
• High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade school is a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail setting
• Strong listening skills and empathy for customers

• Background or passion for automotive, heavy equipment, marine, or dealership industries
• Experience with cataloging or inventory management systems
• Customer-centric attitude
• ASE Certifications
