Manufacturing Production, Machine Operator
Seeking experienced Flat Laser Operators to join a leading metal fabrication facility in Hilliard, OH. Openings on 1st, 2nd, and Weekend shifts!
New hires on 2nd Shift and Weekend Shift will receive initial training on 1st shift for approximately 1-2 months. Pay: $25.75+/hour (based on experience). Shift Premium: $1.50/hour for 2nd shift
Shift Schedules- 1st Shift: 4:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Mon–Thurs)
- 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 1:00 AM (Mon–Thurs) – Off Fridays
- Weekend Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM (Fri–Sun)
The Flat Laser Operator is responsible for operating laser cutting equipment to produce precision‑cut metal components according to customer specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, technical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and monitor flat laser cutting machines for optimal performance.
- Pick and stage feedstock for production orders.
- Break down bulk bundles and prepare material for shipment.
- Package finished goods according to customer requirements.
- Safely operate sit‑down or side‑loader forklifts to move material.
- Complete work orders and documentation accurately using computer systems.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support production needs.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating laser cutting machinery or similar equipment preferred.
- Ability to pass a skills‑based assessment (reading, math, inspection, and measurement).
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving ability.
- Basic math and computer skills required.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and meet standard vision/hearing requirements.
- Reliable attendance and a positive, team‑oriented attitude.
- Successful candidates will participate in a structured training and apprenticeship program upon hire.
