Production Technician (Bottling/Mixing)

Location: Hilliard, Ohio

Hours: 6:00a - 2:30p M-F; or 10:00a - 6:30p M-F

Job Summary: The Production Technician will be responsible for the accurate and efficient mixing, compounding, and bottling of our specialized products. This role involves following precise formulas and work instructions, operating production equipment, and ensuring product quality meets our high standards. The ideal candidate is reliable, possesses strong attention to detail, and can perform the physical demands of the position in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Accurately weigh or measure raw materials, ingredients, or products to ensure strict adherence to specifications and requirements.

  • Stage and load necessary materials into process tanks according to batch work instructions to facilitate the manufacturing of quality products.

  • Compound or process ingredients following established formulas and procedures.

  • Read and accurately comprehend work orders, production specifications, and other relevant information.

  • Observe production processes and monitor equipment operation to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant manufacturing.

  • Adjust product batches as necessary until approved by quality control (QC) standards.

  • Operate machinery to mix or blend ingredients for specified durations to achieve desired consistency, resulting in the final product.

  • Manually distribute specified amounts of materials into machinery or equipment as required.

  • Collect product samples for laboratory testing and quality assurance.

  • Strictly adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.

  • Inspect materials, products, and equipment to detect defects or identify needs for maintenance or adjustment.

Qualifications:

  • Basic mathematical and reading comprehension skills are essential.

  • Ability to perform the physical demands of the position, including but not limited to:

  • Frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.

  • Frequent reaching and handling objects with hands and arms.

  • Prolonged periods of standing, walking, or balancing.

  • Regular bending, pushing, and pulling of materials.

  • Legible handwriting is a must for accurate record-keeping.

    Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $19.00
