Accounts Payable Manager

We are partnering with a rapidly growing organization with a global footprint, currently executing an ERP implementation and pursuing ongoing acquisitions. As the company scales, we are building a best‑in‑class finance organization and are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Leader to drive excellence across the AP function.

The Accounts Payable Leader will own and lead the global AP function, overseeing a team of approximately 10 AP professionals. This individual will serve as the operational and strategic leader for AP, playing a critical role in ERP implementation, process standardization, and integration of acquired businesses. This is a high‑visibility role with significant opportunity to shape how AP operates in a growing organization.

• Lead, develop, and inspire a team of ~10 Accounts Payable professionals across global operations
• Own the end‑to‑end AP process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and scalability
• Act as the AP subject matter expert during the ERP implementation, including design decisions, testing, and training
• Standardize AP processes, controls, and policies across regions and entities
• Manage high‑volume, multi‑entity, and multi‑currency invoice and payment processing
• Partner closely with procurement, treasury, accounting, and operations to optimize the procure‑to‑pay cycle
• Serve as the escalation point for vendor issues and complex payment matters
• Lead AP integration efforts for newly acquired companies
• Drive automation, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support month‑end close and AP‑related reporting and analytics

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 7+ years of progressive accounts payable experience
• Demonstrated experience leading an AP team of 8–12+ employees
• Global AP experience, including multi‑currency and multi‑entity environments
• Hands‑on involvement in an ERP implementation or major system transformation
• Strong understanding of AP controls, compliance, and best practices
• Experience operating in a fast‑growing, change‑driven organization
• Proven leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

• Experience supporting acquisitions or post‑merger integrations
• Experience with large ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, Dynamics, etc.)
• Shared services or centralized AP model experience
• Manufacturing, distribution, or industrial industry experience
