Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available in Hilliard, OH, supporting students at a school serving grades K through 8. The role is focused on providing direct intervention services as an Intervention Specialist within a cross-categorical special education setting. This position requires working on-site, Monday through Friday, from 7:20 AM to 3:30 PM, including a 30-minute lunch break.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of 16 students with diverse disabilities, providing tailored educational support and interventions.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and administration to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Monitor student progress and adapt strategies to meet individual learning needs.
• Maintain detailed records in compliance with state and federal special education regulations.
• Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development activities.

Qualifications and

Experience:

• Must hold a valid Ohio Special Education certification.
• Experience working with cross-categorical populations, preferably K-8.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and staff.
• Ability to conduct assessments and deliver targeted interventions.
• Commitment to being on-site during scheduled hours.
