Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

Bag groceries at checkout, striving for at least five items per bag without damage.

Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).

Assist in removing customer's merchandise from bascarts for checkout.

Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.

Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.

Return merchandise to shelves, gather and return bascarts, and clean spills, trash, and all areas inside and outside the store.

Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise, understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks.

Reinforce safety programs, comply with safety procedures, and report unsafe conditions or incidents.

Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines.

Inspect equipment, notify management of repairs, and create a welcoming environment for customers.

Follow all laws and company guidelines, work cooperatively in high-paced environments, manage conflicts, and act with honesty and integrity.

Support and assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults as needed.

Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
