The Food & Beverage team enables a consistent guest experience by ensuring products are fresh, in stock, available, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor. They are experts in operations, process, and efficiency, leading food and food services including replenishment, inventory accuracy, food safety, presentation, pricing, and promotional signing for all Food & Beverage areas of the store.

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience, providing a fresh and full shopping experience during all hours of operations, prioritizing the guest’s needs over tasks.
• Uphold and maintain the execution of the Food & Beverage standards.
• Execute Food & Beverage processes including food deliveries, replenishment, straightening merchandise, in-stocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing, organizing, and storing reserve product.
• Follow all food safety requirements as outlined in Target’s policies and procedures.
• Use sampling and suggestive selling to promote products and increase sales.
• Work with vendors to set, maintain, and make planned changes to salesfloor displays and backroom organization.
• Identify damaged, recalled, or expired items and process according to Target’s policies and procedures.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to solve guest issues and improve their experience.
• Comply with federal, state, and local adult beverage laws as they apply to the business.
• Use and care for in-store and personal protective equipment; follow equipment control guidelines.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup, and drive-up while complying with laws.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with their needs.
• Thank guests and convey appreciation for their visit.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• You are open to a flexible schedule with varying hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times.

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older (Bakery Only).
• Previous food or grocery experience is preferred but not required.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate using multiple devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology as directed.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong guest-question resolution and attention to detail with multi-step processes.
• Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks within time frames.

• Ability to handle cash operations as needed; climb ladders; lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays; reliable and prompt attendance.
• Ability to work in varied temperatures (34°F to
  -10°F as needed) and environments with potential allergens.
• Ability to be mobile for the duration of a shift and work in spaces with varying temperatures and humidity.
