About the RoleWe are looking for a Level 3 Program Planner to support a one‑of‑a‑kind Cross Business Area campaign that exemplifies our commitment to our OneLM Strategy. The Planner will thrive in a dynamic environment and lead by example, influencing and fostering collaboration for impactful results.
Responsibilities- Serve as the lead Planner for a program
- Develop, manage, and analyze Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) in order to monitor progress, assess program status, and identify performance issues in a timely manner
- Ensure established program baseline control processes are followed and oversee business rhythms required to accomplish program control, analyses and forecasting goals
- Use critical path methodology, risk analysis, and problem resolution to mitigate delays/issues that arise, communicate schedule impacts and propose corrective actions to applicable program partners
- Synchronize cost/schedule integration in support of Earned Value requirements and generate schedule metrics and reports related to the implementation of the Program
- Conduct schedule presentations which may include Program Management, Executive Management, or Customer Stakeholders
- Develop recovery plans to ensure program milestones are completed in accordance with the contract requirements
- Work with cross‑functional teams to maintain and coordinate vertical and horizontal schedule integration between supplemental schedules, the IMS, and the Program Summary Master Schedule
Our level 3 employees typically have 5‑10 years of experience.
Basic Qualifications- 5‑10 years of planning experience
- Experience with networked schedules, schedule integrity checks, and critical path methodology
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Open Plan or another comparable scheduling tool
- Earned Value Management (EVM) experience
- Demonstrated ability to compile, prepare and present information to management and customers
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Extensive Microsoft Project Server or Open Plan experience
- Microsoft Excel experience
- Leadership qualities and desires
- Strong influencing and relationship skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of an integrated team
- Ability to liaise with, speak and present effectively to personnel at all levels of the organization
- Strong communication and relationship management skills
- Strong sense of follow‑up and closure with strict attention to detail and quality
