In this role you will have the following daily key responsibilities:
In this role, you'll be a Subcontract Manager, mainly being responsible for the management of supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance for the Electronic Steerable Array (ESA) hardware portfolios as well as other hardware portfolios that may benefit from this position. You will be accountable for managing subcontracts throughout their entire life cycle - starting from proposal phases, through execution, full delivery of the work product, and into closeout for multiple programs and Lockheed Martin line of businesses.
You will play a critical part in developing and executing contractual relationships with our supplier base as well as internal Lockheed Martin Stakeholders. Every day will be unique with being the face of the Subcontract Management Team as the team will look to you to help resolve complex supplier performance issues. You'll have a lasting impact on our bottom line by controlling costs through negotiations.
Candidates must comply to purchasing policies, procedures, and program requirements. You are responsible for subcontract lifecycle activities on multiple programs, with specific support to the Space Supply Chain Enterprise Strategic Sourcing (ESS) organization.
Basic Qualifications:
To be effective, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education,
• 5+ years of professional experience in Supply Chain Management (i.e... Procurement, Subcontract Administration, Subcontract Management, Negotiation, and/or Category Management),
• Previous experience with procurement processes and regulations under DoD (FAR, DFAR, TINA, and or ITAR)
• Knowledge of SAP/P2P Purchasing System, PO Folders, procedures,
• Experience with management of Cost, Technical, Schedule, Risk and Opportunity experience.
• You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance , to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
