HRH Sterile Process

Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

$22.80 - $29.64 / hour, dependent on applicant's relevant experience.

• Assist with the development, implementation, and evaluation of departmental policies and procedures.
• Provide mentoring, monitoring, coaching, and evaluation of team members' performance, especially in productivity and quality management. Serve as a positive role model and promote teamwork and cooperation.
• Assist with coordinating services, prioritizing assignments and workflow, and promote situational decision‑making/problem solving. Assist team with ordering of supplies for the department and monitor staff production and quality metrics.
• Perform responsibilities of underlying job. Take responsibility for or provide guidance to team members on handling complex or novel issues.
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and ability to work with minimal supervision. Must work in fast‑paced environment and take appropriate action.

• Minimum Required
  
  Education:
  
  High School diploma or GED. Preferred:
  Medical Terminology course.
• Required Licensure/Certification:
  Certified as a CSPDT (Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician) or CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician). Preferred:
  One of the following additional certifications:
  Certified Healthcare Leader (CHL) or Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS) or Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) by HSPA or CBSPD equivalent.
• Minimum Experience:
  
  2 years of sterile processing experience.
