Base pay determined by applicant’s skills and experience. Role eligible for team-based bonus opportunities. Temporary associates not benefits eligible but may participate in company’s 401(k) program.

Responsibilities- Provide dementia care, including adapted ADLs, meaningful engagement, and communication per resident service plan.
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and transportation to programs and meals.
- Participate in team behavioral expression meetings and discussions with leadership.
- Know residents’ life stories, preferences, routines, and interests.
- Serve meals in dining room, assist with meal prep following dementia-friendly menus, prompt residents to eat, and report changes.
- Lead Daily Path engagement programs and encourage socialization.
- Maintain daily records—medication distribution, engagement interests, incidents, behavior changes, visitor logs—aligned with company policy.
- Assist residents with medication if permitted, following physician orders and regulations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, orderly environment; perform housekeeping duties.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and assist residents via pull cords, calls, and requests.
- Monitor resident location and notify supervisor if resident cannot be located.
- Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions.

Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED and 3–6 months related experience, or training in direct service with older adults living with dementia, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Reference state regulations for medication assistance qualifications. Knowledge of dementia, especially Alzheimer’s type.
Certifications and LicensesCurrent state certification may be required per state law.

- Travel required occasionally

Knowledge and SkillsBasic level of skill; follows written or verbal instructions. Basic technical skills to complete repetitive, well‑defined duties. Basic knowledge of organization for answering basic questions. Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Write simple correspondence. Communicate effectively in English with residents, family members, and associates. Apply common sense. Good judgment in emergencies, seeking assistance when needed.
