Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering/technical discipline from an accredited college with 15 years of professional experience, a master’s degree with 12 years of experience, or a PhD with 10 years of experience
- Exceptional record of sustained technical achievement, job performance, and continuing technical growth in the area of solid rocket motor propulsion
- Demonstrated technical and technology leadership with significant business impact
- Support to multiple solid rocket motor programs and/or business areas
- Ability to obtain a DOD Top Secret

We Are Seeking a Solid Propulsion Engineer To Serve As a Recognized Expert And Technical Leader, Providing Leadership To Business Execution By
- Providing technical consultation, problem resolution, and guidance for the entire program lifecycle: pre-capture to delivery and sustainment
- Collaborating and advising engineering staff across the Space business area
- Mentoring, advancing knowledge continuity, and guiding career development across the engineering community
- Developing key customer incremental and disruptive architectural and technical solutions
- Serving as technical ambassadors for key customers, technical societies, and governmental agencies, and/or
- Driving innovation and maturation of the technical base
- Recognized technical excellence by senior professional technologists, as well as customer communities, professional societies, or academia
- Innovative solutions to complex, technically challenging problems related to solid propulsion
- Continuous improvement of discipline knowledge
- Demonstrated successful mentorship
- Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance
