Lockheed Martin Space in Highlands Ranch, CO has an immediate opportunity for a level 3 Engineering Planner/Project Manager to join our mission in the Engineering Planning organization. Engineering Planning supports our Space engineering customers and provides the following services: create/maintain detailed/resource loaded supplement schedules, align schedules with the program and operations plans, and generate/maintain metrics. Our main mission is to create and manage schedules, coordinate with stakeholders, and create performance metrics to help give customer the tools they need to be successful in their endeavors.
Summary of
Key Duties:
In this role, you will….
* Develop and maintain detailed, logic based engineering release plans and supplemental schedules in Microsoft Project in support of the IMS.
* Support various programs with planning support for short and long-term tasking
* Work closely with Engineering organization to maintain engineering execution plans.
* Provide status, and update/maintain metrics for reporting.
* Maintain various add hock reports, such as labor analysis, and rough-cut capacity planning.

Basic Qualifications:
* 2-3 years of relevant work experience in planning,
scheduling or manufacturing (e.g. event planning, logistical planning, construction planning)
* Proven ability in utilizing MS Project or another
comparable scheduling tool
* Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point
* Due to programs being supported, United States
citizenship is required
Desired
Skills:
* Bachelors degree or MBA from an accredited college
in a related discipline (Engineering or Business related degrees)
* Currently working in a planning/scheduling role
* Ability to manage multiple projects within given scope
and deadlines
* Root Cause and Corrective Action experience and
mindset
* Experience in resource loading, performing
capacity/constraint management and analysis
* Self-Starter and motivated to contribute to process
improvements
* Strong relationship builder with customer and team
members with the ability to diplomatically work through
problems
