Our founders are telecommunications engineers with extensive experience in designing, optimizing, and performance engineering for wireless carriers. We provide low power, cost-efficient sensors to collect data, create alerts, and predict needed actions, using low power, wide area (LPWA) networking technologies to help clients reduce operating costs for an IoT network of sensors and connected devices. We specialize in the design, deployment, optimization, and support of these networks, delivering off-the-shelf or custom solutions and pushing data to the best cloud platform to fit client needs.

• Contract position for Database Administrator - Oracle Database Administrator.
• Administer Oracle databases (11g, Standalone and RAC) including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and patching.
• Manage RMAN backups and recovery for Standalone and RAC deployments; configure and maintain Physical Standby Database and Active Data Guard (Standby).
• Implement and support Oracle Golden Gate in Active/Passive (one-way) and Active/Active configurations; setup, troubleshooting, and administration.
• Perform database migrations, upgrades, patching, and BAU DBA administration tasks; monitor and optimize performance; work with OEM for management.
• Apply Oracle security practices and auditing; manage storage technologies and network connectivity pertinent to the database environment.
• Collaborate with development teams; contribute to architecture, deployment planning, and operations on AWS.
• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

• 5+ years in an Oracle database administration role.
• Experience with Oracle 11g Rel 2 (Standalone and RAC) installation, configuration, administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning; RMAN backup and recovery;
  Physical Standby Database and Active Data Guard;
  Oracle Golden Gate; database migrations; installs, upgrades, and patching for Standalone and RAC; BAU DBA administration;
  Oracle performance and tuning; OEM.
• Strong understanding of Oracle security and audit, storage technologies, and networking.
• Familiarity with Shell scripting; ITIL;

• Prior experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) required.
