Role DescriptionArcadis is seeking a Principal Hydrogeologist and self‑motivated seller‑doer for a full‑time position to support our Resilience Environment team at our office in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. The role primarily supports technical projects and the development and implementation of remote monitoring at project sites across many sectors, including those under CERCLA and RCRA. Some travel to project sites is required to meet clients and support field staff.
Arcadis offers a flexible working environment with a hybrid work structure. A successful candidate can expect to work remotely and from the office based on project and client needs.
Role AccountabilitiesThe successful candidate will support Arcadis Services leads as a subject matter expert in the implementation of remote environmental monitoring. Responsibilities include developing innovative technical solutions, stewarding staff in implementation, and supporting business growth through market and account collaboration.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Collaboratively developing scope and cost proposals for projects and task orders; contributing to strategic growth, planning, and support of key market initiatives throughout the region.
- Supporting the development of junior and mid‑level staff.
- Assisting Arcadis technical experts in hydrologic modeling and development of conceptual site models.
This role will primarily be office‑based; however, field assignments will be necessary to train field staff in instrumentation installation and installation, requiring up to 25% travel.
Qualifications & ExperienceWe are looking for someone passionate about accelerating a planet‑positive future and ready to support environmental projects in the Western United States.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Geology or a closely related field.
- 15+ years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PG license in good standing.

The salary range for this position is $122,478–$208,212. Actual salaries will vary based on experience, education, budget, internal equity, project, and location.
