Substitute - Preschool Instructor

Responsible for providing classroom instruction and positive interaction with students and colleagues. Develops and promotes good community relations among various community members and school clientele.

• Occasional lifting, five (5) to fifty (50) pounds
• Frequent bending, stooping, walking, standing, kneeling, crawling, squatting, reaching, and sitting

• Communicate effectively with students, parents and team.
• Use formal and informal methods to assess the abilities and needs of students.
• Maintain data collection regarding student progress/performance, including confidential reports and information.
• Participate in ongoing formal and informal staff development.
• Perform toileting duties and life skills instruction.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
• Plan and implement instruction consistent with the preschool curriculum and mandated components. Cooperate with the special education team to help special education children meet Individual Educational Plan goals and with team members to develop and implement Individual Learning Plans for at‑risk students.

First Aid & CPR Certification - American Heart Association, Group Leader Qualified - Co Dept of Human Services

High School or Equivalent

• Full Salary Range: $22.74 USD - $22.74 USD Hourly

This position is eligible for voluntary 401(k), 403(b) and 457 retirement plans.
