Finance and Accounting Manager

Overview

We are a Highland, Utah real estate investment and development company focused on long‑term ownership of shopping centers, office buildings, and residential communities in and around Utah and the Mountain West. We buy land, finance and develop projects, then lease and manage them for long‑term cash flow.

The Finance and Accounting Manager will own day‑to‑day accounting, cash forecasting, budgeting, and reporting for our operating company and real estate partnerships. The role is hands‑on and emphasizes cash flow forecasting and building simple, repeatable reporting processes, while coordinating tax support with our external CPA.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5–8+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, including strong GL and month‑end close.
• Strong GAAP knowledge for outside agencies, although we don’t use GAAP internally; proven experience with financial statements and cash flow forecasting.
• Proficiency with Quick Books and familiarity with Yardi; strong Excel and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and communicate clearly with owners, lenders, and external CPAs.

• Experience with partnerships and K‑1s; process automation exposure.
• CPA/CMA or similar credentials (nice to have, not required).
