Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Full-Time Corrective Maintenance Technician with certifications in refrigeration and HVAC. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various types of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems. This role ensures the optimal functioning of equipment in commercial and residential environments, emphasizing safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and general building maintenance.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers, freezers, and other refrigeration equipment.
  • Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
  • Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify necessary repairs and ensure equipment is in safe working order.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure timely resolution of issues and minimal downtime.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals to perform necessary repairs and installations.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Document all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and equipment maintenance logs.
  • Respond promptly to emergency repair requests.
Qualifications:
  • Required:
    Refrigeration and HVAC certification (EPA 608 certification preferred).
  • Required: Experience in maintenance, HVAC, and refrigeration systems.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.
  • Proficient in using hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to lift heavy objects and work in various environmental conditions.
  • Valid driver's license.
