• Examines damaged vehicles and efficiently plans repair processes.
• Communicates with team members regarding repair status.
• Performs quality repairs while meeting on‑time delivery expectations.
• Decides when to repair versus replace components, considering safety, cost and cycle time.
• Removes upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic systems, and trim to access the vehicle and fenders.
• Participates in all required safety meetings.
• Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces using power tools and hand tools.
• Directs the work of an apprentice on complex tasks, explaining procedures as needed.

• Ability to use a frame machine.
• Preferred certification in body repair.
• Knowledge of manufacturer vehicle repair processes.
• I‑CAR welding certification.
• Skill in analyzing and interpreting measurement data.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.
• Must pass a thorough background check.

Paid on a commission/flag rate structure. Flag pay meets local minimum wage requirements. Average flag pay ranges from USD $65,000.00 to $ per year, based on experience and qualifications.
