Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Highland, IN, for a Site Safety Supervisor. The primary responsibilities include overseeing site safety protocols, conducting safety training sessions, implementing health and safety standards, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and other local regulations. The role involves actively investigating workplace accidents, identifying risks, and implementing corrective measures to prevent future incidents. The Site Safety Supervisor will collaborate with teams to create a safe and healthy working environment and ensure continuous improvement of safety practices.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Health & Safety, Occupational Health, and knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards
- Experience in Safety Training and developing safety programs
- Practical understanding of Safety Engineering principles
- Skill in Accident Investigation and ability to identify root causes and recommend preventative actions
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Ability to perform efficiently in a team setting and under pressure
- Certifications such as OSHA 30‑hour, CPR/first aid (required)
- Prior experience in safety supervision, particularly in industrial or construction environments, would be an asset
