Job Description

Summary:

With little supervision, provides very complex specialized services and support to department, office, or program.

Job Description:

Description of Duties and Tasks
  • Create and update graphic design materials for print and digital use, including flyers, postcards, digital advertisement, presentations, signage, and promotional assets.
  • Support the development of design concepts for marketing campaigns, events, and college initiatives.
  • Prepare final production files and collaborate with internal teams as needed.
  • Work on assigned projects in a timely and professional manner, meeting established deadlines.
  • Incorporates team and management edits in a respectful manner.
  • Ensures work produced is in accordance with the College’s brand standards
Knowledge
  • Processes, practices, and procedures related to the departmental work being done.
  • Advanced knowledge of graphic design, typography, and color principles
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically, InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
Skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines
  • Maintaining an established work schedule.
  • Effectively using interpersonal and communications skills including tact and diplomacy.
  • Effectively using organizational and planning skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of work-related information and materials.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
Technology Skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency using standard office software and graphic design and publishing applications including Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and scanning software in a predominately Mac-based environment.
Required Work Experience
  • Two years or more or related work experience.
Physical Requirements
  • Work is performed in a standard office environment. The work schedule may be hybrid or fully remote with supervisor approval.
    Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing, and pulling.
    Occasional lifting of objects up to 30 pounds.
Safety
  • Work safely and follow safety rules. Report unsafe working conditions and behavior. Take reasonable and prudent actions to prevent others from engaging in unsafe practices.

$30.40 (Hourly)
