Overview

Permanent part‑time Retail Scan Associate role. Scan Scape Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps. The data collected is analyzed and used to improve sales performance of the product and retailer.

Being a Retail Scan Associate offers an opportunity in retail, providing workplace independence, some flexibility in hours, and job consistency. There will be continuous physical activity throughout the workday shift.

• Perform in‑store data collections at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks.
• Use a downloadable app to scan barcodes in numerous locations throughout each store.
• Provide the quantity for approximately 45% of the products scanned.
• Complete display scanning for the entire store each week.
• Participate in Custom Projects that may add 30 minutes to 2 hours of work for certain weeks.
• Adhere to weekly deadlines and maintain quality data delivery to clients.

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods and access products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and reach 6 feet in the air.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be a deadline‑driven self‑starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
