• Manage Highland Health cares' Infection Prevention and Control Program
• Monitor, investigate, and report healthcare-associated infections
• Conduct risk assessments and implement evidence-based infection prevention strategies
• Provide staff training, education, and development on infection control best practices
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care and compliance with standards
• Deliver compassionate nursing care within your scope of practice
• Maintain accurate documentation of infection control activities and resident care
• Promote a safe, restorative environment that encourages resident independence

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) certification in the state of Illinois
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Knowledge of infection prevention, infectious diseases, or epidemiology preferred (long-term care experience a plus)
• Team-oriented, dependable, and committed to quality resident care
