Eaton’s GEIS division is currently seeking an Asset Care & Reliability Maintenance Manager. This is a remote role for candidates residing in the United States.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $130,000 - $190,000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. What You’ll DoEaton Corporation’s GEIS division is seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to oversee the asset care and reliability maintenance programs from the North America region. Reporting into the Director of Operations – Crouse Hinds as well as the Director of Operations – B‑Line, the incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing maintenance strategies to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our manufacturing assets across 11 manufacturing facilities.
This role requires a proactive approach to asset management, focusing on preventive maintenance, continuous improvement, and the optimization of equipment performance. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for developing a high‑performing plant maintenance organization capable of working in both heavy industrial and technologically advanced factories.
- Create and oversee comprehensive maintenance strategies that include preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Manage the lifecycle of manufacturing assets, including procurement, installation, maintenance, and decommissioning. Ensure all assets are maintained in optimal condition.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in maintenance and reliability. Utilize data‑driven approaches to enhance equipment performance and reduce operational costs.
- Provide functional leadership and mentorship to Plant Managers and Plant Maintenance Managers. Provide training and development opportunities to build teams’ organizational capabilities within the latest maintenance techniques and technologies.
- Build and maintain a high-performing plant maintenance organization capable of working both heavy industrial and technologically advanced factories.
- Promote process standardization across the organization and integrate preventative maintenance solutions into the operating system model in collaboration with manufacturing engineering.
- Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while maintaining high standards of equipment reliability and safety.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with industry regulations and company safety standards. Foster a culture of excellence, safety, and continuous improvement within the maintenance team.
- Work closely with other departments, including production, engineering, and procurement, to coordinate maintenance activities and support overall operational goals.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for maintenance activities. Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Basic (Required)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required OR eight (8) years of maintenance management experience.
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience with progressive levels of accountability and responsibility in Manufacturing/Operations, Maintenance, and/or Manufacturing Engineering.
