While most of your time will be spent at the register, you may also assist other departments, stock shelves, or move carts as needed.

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience.
• Proactively assist customers in the self‑checkout area.
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently.
• Manage cash register, payments, and exchanges.
• Answer customer questions.
• Help maintain a clean, safe workstation.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time.
• Experience using a computer for inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• Minimally lift 10 lbs unassisted or over 15 lbs with or without accommodation.
• Obtain sales‑related licensure or registration if required by law in your state.

• Retail and/or customer service experience.
• Bilingual skills.

This role does not require regular travel; however, occasional travel may be needed for meetings, training, or to support neighboring stores.

Environmental factors vary by location, including inside and outside weather conditions, exposure to extreme heat or cold, dampness, humidity, wind, or drafty conditions. Noise can be constant or intermittent. Lifting methods vary based on role, weight, and volume. Associates must follow guidelines limiting single lifts to 75 pounds. Team lifts are used for loads starting at 75 pounds when needed. Powered equipment should be used as required, with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.
