We are looking for a fabulous and dedicated Kitchen Hand to work in our lovely retirement village, Highlands, located in Highland Park, Auckland. Reporting to the Food Services Manager, this is a varied role where you will not only deliver exceptional service to our residents while working as part of our kitchen team, but you will also help provide a great dining experience for them, and assist the chef with baking when required.
This is a Permanent Full-time role working 32 hours week across rostered shifts, so you must be flexible and available to work weekends.
There may also be the opportunity to pick up additional shifts if desired.
Duties include- Collecting used dishes, running the dishwasher
- General cleaning in the Kitchen
- Assisting with preparation of meals including baking
- Delivering food to our care home (within the property)
- Baking experience also advantageous
- Positive attitude and a strong team player
- Good time management and communication skills
